Alpine Endurance eVent Jacket - Men's

The start/stop nature of alpine climbing makes temperature regulation a tough task. Montane designed the Alpine Endurance eVent Jacket to provide the ultimate protection from the elements while simultaneously breathing enough to keep you dry on the inside during strenuous exertion. The three-layer eVent shell combines incredible waterproofness with breathability characteristics that dramatically reduce interior clamminess.

The Alpine Endurance jacket is designed with climbing and mountaineering in mind. The handwarmer pockets are positioned well clear of backpack belts or climbing harnesses, and the arms are tailored to prevent the hem from lifting when the arms are raised. The elbows are articulated to increase range of motion, and a slightly larger chest and bicep fit allows for effortless winter layering. Core vents also take into account the fact that you are likely to be wearing a pack while on your expedition—the vents are angled under the arms and upper back to allow effective airflow.

Other technical features such as a four-way adjustable, helmet-compatible hood and waterproof zippers are handy out in the backcountry. Bonded micro fleece on the inner collar is easy on the mouth and chin, and multiple internal and external pockets provide ample storage space.
