Vapor Glove Always Great Quality
Been in barefoot sneakers and hiking boots for years after a lifetime of foot pain and issues. Love these Vapor Glove 5, the color is perfect for blending in with whatever I am wearing.

the best barefoot shoe, period.
i am on my second pair of vapor glove 5s after my puppy ate my previous pair that i'd had for 2 years. i wear these practically everywhere/every day, and still get compliments on them! i have balance issues and the grip of the soles is wonderful. there's no other shoe like these, and honestly the vapor glove 5s are the best out of all the barefoot designs merrell offers (i have two other pairs in the 6 and trail). please PLEASE keep the gray VG5 forever!!

I’m my favorite
I bought second one and thinking 3rd incase they will not have accessible later on. I like design more than the newer versions and it is very comfortable, lightweight , easy to pack for travels đź‘Ť

Best Shoes Ever
I love these shoes! This was the first pair of Merrell's I bought, and I won't buy any other shoe brand. I had these as my everything shoes for a year until I bought the Glove 6 Leather and now, I use the Glove 6 as my dressier work shoes, and the Glove 5 as my hiking shoes. I love these shoes so much! Hiking over rocky terrain took a little breaking in as my arches didn't like the pressure of the sharp rocks at first but now, I won't hike in anything else!

Love the flexibility and fit
The flexibility for the foot on my runs in the minimalist shoes is so healthy. I run in hilly terrain a lot and added very easily my half insole to prevent plantar fasciitis. The sock design is so good that I tried out running without socks and it works great for me. I love my Merrell running shoes and this is probably my tenth pair.

Love these shoes!
I wear them everywhere! They look great and feel great! I usually wear size 8 to 8.5 but I went with a 9 for these and they fit great.

Not the Vapor Glove 4.
I loved the Vapor Glove 4. I have 3 pair of them in different colors. I am disappointed with the Vapor Glove 5. They cost too much for a discontinued shoe. The quality control doesn't seem to be as good as the Vapor Glove 4. The shoes run a bit small in comparison. I measure a 7.5 but buy size 8 sneakers. My toes touch the end of the shoe. The 5 doesn't have a separate tongue. I might ease into liking them better (I bought 2 pair) but feel meh about them. By the way, I also loved the Vapor Glove 3. I wish the Vapor Glove 4 were still available in different colors.

The perfect shoe
I have had these shoes for years and cannot praise them enough. I've gone through several versions of the Vapor Glove and have loved them all. Merrell has worked out the issues with durability of the upper that the earlier versions had, and this one has lasted me for years through many miles of running. This shoe is the perfect blend of barefoot comfort and protection for your skin. I run in them nearly daily, primarily on roads, gravel or dirt trails, and treadmill. While I wouldn't choose them for a run on rocky trails because of the care they require to avoid stepping on sharp rocks, I have hiked in them on rough trails like that and been comfortable with the lower speed and impact of a hike instead of a run. I have several other Merrell barefoot options from years ago when they made more of them, and I love them all. Somehow the other shoes I've bought from specifically barefoot brands have never been quite as comfortable or fit quite as well as my Merrell barefoot shoes of any model. When I wear through the ones I have now, I will not hesitate to buy another pair.
