Perfect fit.
I have trouble finding shoes that fit well, at a size 12.5ish, often 12 or 13 don’t fit well. The size 13 fit me perfect and are so comfortable. They are great.

Occasional hiker
Had a pair for about 20 years and they finally wore out. Been hiking in Arizona for days and they are working great.

Big Bend trails.
Good stable hiking footwear. Solid base and good ankle support. Super comfortable with good wool socks. Hiked several moderately challenging trails in and around Big Bend National Park. Everything from desert to rocky to somewhat mountainous terrain. Performed well climbing moderate mountain rocky ascents as well and climbing back down. Trekking on rocky trails was very stable as well. Stayed dry along the banks of the Rio Grand while soaking my headgear for temperature control. This is my second pair.

Super happy with my Moab 3 Mids!
I couldn't be happier with the Moab 3 Mids! They were super comfortable out of the box. The Vibram soles provide great grip on the trail. The waterproofing seems to be a valid claim, but I haven't had a chance to really put that to the test yet. Perhaps when I'm hiking in Iceland later this year, if not before.

Hikers that love you back
I have trekked through the cold and snow in Alaska for two weeks. My Moab’s have kept me warm and comfortable throughout my mild adventures. I love them and they love my feet back! Thanks Merrell.

Comfy Good Fit
These shoes fit and are comfortable right out of the box. They have great ankle support and cushion which is necessary for me. I wear them every day around the farm and they never get uncomfortable or heavy. They wear like iron and last forever. I have had several pair.

Comfortable, but poor waterproofing
Not waterproof. Both toes damp walking in wet grass

Big Improvement over MOAB 2
So far, I’m extremely impressed with these boots. Minimal break in required, more durable and a little more supportive than the MOAB 2. After 4 mountain hikes, including a 27 mile trek up and down craggy, granite covered mountain, I dusted these off and they still look brand new…although they may not smell that way. I’ve owned many different types of Merrells and other brands, but this pair has been this best of them all. Oh, and surprisingly no blisters.

New Boots
I received new boots for my birthday which I wear all day walking my route. Love them in the cold and snow of Detroit.
