Built for scenic day hikes the Merrel Antora 2 Solution Dye Trail Running Shoe is made tough for rocky and rooty conditions. These low-profile shoes are what we use while hiking on hot summer days. The sole includes aggressive shapes and designs to shed mud and grip to less than ideal surfaces.

Perfect Trail Running/Walking Sneakers
These are perfect trail running/walking sneakers with just enough tread for traction and grip over uneven ground, but lightweight to wear! Love, the outer front of foot covering as it deters water from entering the shoe.

Not comfortable
They are very Uncomfortable, too stiff. I like the traction but the lack of flexibility in the toe box is not good.

Happy with my Merrell Antora 2
Love them. Comfortable from the first time I put them on. Wore them all the time on my visit to Kentucky and feet felt great all day. They offer great support and look great too.

Long on comfort...but may not wear well.
This is my second pair of Antoras -- and I like the lighter weight and the comfort. However, I find that the outside of the shoe at the inside of the ankle wears poorly. Still I recommend them.

So comfy right out of the box.
I LOVE the Women's Antora 2 Eco Dye shoes. So comfortable out of the box, there was zero breaking in period. I love the look of the white and black combo and I get so many compliments when I wear them. As for longevity, I think they are well made, but I wonder what someone's expectations are per reading the other reviews. When you walk and rub your shoes together, yeah, they're going to wear out quickly. I don't think most people walk that way. If you wear a shoe every day for 6 months, I'd expect them to start to show some wear. I hike/walk in them and also wear them to work. (Yay for a business casual dress code) I have three pairs of this shoe in this specific black and white color combo, and another pair in different color (Black and Gray) combo. I only purchased three pair because I'm sure one day they will be discontinued and I like to keep something I really love on hand before they are no longer available. I have had the first pair since last Summer, and they are just starting to show a little wear (some fine fuzzy type threads are appearing lately) on the sides where the crease happens above your toes when you bend your foot. I wear them a few times a week and I think I've had them since June or July of 22'. They're still great shoes and I'll continue to wear them, but I'm not sure what people really expect from a shoe's longevity when you wear and use them everyday? I know for running or sports related activities, in the past I've had to replace running shoes every couple of months when the soles break down. These shoes are holding up great with the exception of a few fuzzy threads that I don't really notice and I've had them for about 10 months. I guess you'll just have to decide if that is good enough. I think they're great, that's why I own 4 pair of this style/model of shoe. Also, they make my feet look tiny, which is a bonus. :)

Coming apart after a week
After a week of wearing I noticed that it had already started ripping

Lasted 2 months
I'm really disappointed in these. I wore them for walking my dog 1-3 miles a day (not even high impact trail running) and within 2 months, I felt my plantar fasciitis returning. A couple weeks after that, my feet hurt badly on every walk and I had to buy a different pair of shoes ASAP. Just not enough support, and the support that's there degraded faster than any other sneakers I've ever bought. I expect more from Merrell, and shoes of this price.

love ❤️
When I first got these I didn’t realize how versatile they are since I’d just wear them while hiking in Asheville. I took them on a trip to Arizona where I wore them for a hike in the red rocks as well as walks in the Grand Canyon where they didn’t disappoint in a foot of snow. I then wore them to work out at a resort. 1 pair of shoes for all of that plus they are a cool looking shoe.

Great lightweight hiker
Super comfortable day one with no break in. Great for light hiking, walking, and general every day use. I had plantar fasciitis in the past and these have been great on my feet.

Comfort but lack in quality
These are the second pair of Antora 2 I have bought. Both very comfortable, cute styling but both pairs have worn in the same spot. My purple pair from 2 years ago wore holes both sides just over 6 months of everyday wear and these new black just under 6 months have wear that they will have holes soon. I have one pair of Antora 2 gortex that I haven't seen any wear in the spot but I dont wear them as often.
