Cuddling inside Marmot's Angel Fire Sleeping Bag is a lot like bedding down with a flock of ducks, except totally different. While its 650-fill down insulation keeps us as warm as a wintertime mallard and the Down Defender treatment helps maintain loft in soggy conditions, the rest of the Angel Fire is as un-ducklike as it's possible to be.
The wrap-around footbox and Nautilus multi-baffle hood, for example, provide killer warmth in vital places, while the snagless draft tube and ground-level side seams prevent warmth from seeping out through the zipper or into the air. Marmot also integrated an internal stash pocket for a headlamp or midnight snack, so we can enjoy easy illumination and fuel up when we wake up in the middle of the night.

So warm and cozy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sleeping bag- it has kept me warm during chilly nights in the Smokies and along the Grand Canyon. Good features with a foot pocket and how its narrowed at the feet. Great quality bag at an affordable price!

Temp rating is accurate & women-specific
For those of y'all who saw the review saying the inside tag didn't match with temperature ratings advertised - the inside tag actually says it's rated to 25 degrees specifically for women. The comfort rating is 21.9 degrees for women and 9.7 degrees for men. See attached photo. I haven't used it outdoors yet, but it's very soft and comfortable. It also compresses down much further than advertised.

Great all around sleeping bag!
I've only used this bag on one camping trip so far but I'm glad I picked this one! I'm a 6' tall girl and bought the Angelfire in the long length. So nice to finally have a sleeping bag where I can stretch out all the way and not have it pulling on me from foot to hood lol. There was more than enough space, and its very comfy. Like sleeping in a cloud. And that it has a gear pocket is a nice extra feature. :)

Survived Houston Storm
I got this bag for cold camping - who knew it would be the hero of winter storm Uri. 15 degrees, no power for days, but I was warm and even cozy on my couch in my Angel Fire bag. A+

Past the Test of Time
I'm pretty sure I've had my Angel Fire bag for over 15 years, maybe more. It's still keeping me warm and when not out camping, it serves as a blanket in the winter. Wash and fluff dry it still seems to retain all it's features. Thank you Marmot.

Comfort is 30.4F!
The tag and website specs says 21.4F for the comfort rating, but the bag itself has 30.4F as the rating. And certainly, as 28F, I was not comfortable. I was cold and sleeping in a puffy jacket along with two wool sweaters as well. The zipper is a little hard to pull up without snagging bag. But very soft and cushy. Toe box was perfectly sized for me.

So cozy!
Awesome sleeping bag, super comfy and cozy! It packs up small and I love the inside pocket & extra partial zip on the right side for airflow on warmer nights. Plus the color is so nice! I’m 5’5” 150lb and I felt like I had plenty of room on the sides and at the feet without lots of unused space.
