It's not only fully waterproof (10,000 mm), but more importantly, it's much more breathable (20,000g/m²) than before, with a 140% increase in breathability over Marmot's previous 2.5-layer laminate technology.

Trapping body heat for a pleasantly warm skiing and riding experience, the jacket's PrimaLoft Silver insulation offers low-bulk warmth during sub-freezing winter temperatures. Unlike down insulation, PrimaLoft Silver retains maximum warmth through damp to soaking wet conditions, meaning you'll stay nice and warm, no matter if it's dumping snow or spitting sleet outside. Fully sealed seams prevent outside moisture from seeping through the jacket's tiniest seam cracks, keeping your core nice and dry through widely varying winter conditions.
