My tent is a 2024 version. Maybe QC has slipped at Marmot, as there are several good reviews of this. I have used the tent a week, car camping with a total of two people in the tent. It rained half the days. GOOD: 1. Set up is easy, 2. Quite stable in the wind considering it is a 3-season tent, 3. There is a ton of headroom. BAD: 1. Crazy small for three people. Not really at all spacious even for just two. 2. Leaks rain water in seven places. Seven little puddles of water inside on the floor. It leaks at the top of each of the three fly zippers and at each of the four tent corners. Brand new, name brand, that leaks in seven places. To Be Avoided.

The con: it is a tad heavy. However, you don’t have to pack the footprint or the top poles if you want to save some weight. I love how versatile it is with how many different ways it can be set up. I took my two girls 7 and 3) and a heeler dog. We had plenty of room. Much more durable than other backpack tents if you don’t mind carrying and extra pound or two.

Very happy with my purchase, kept us dry during pouring rain. Gets warm inside when you have it fully closed but thats a good thing on those cold nights!

I've only slept in it one weekend, so I cannot attest to how it holds up in a storm or over time, but it is a great size and shape. I love the double vestibules for shoes. A couple small pockets for your cell phone, flash light, etc. There are not many '3 person' tents out there, not cramped like two person tents, or huge like four person tents. I'm car camping and not backpacking. I like the height, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this tent. Perfectly fits a exped double sleeping mat (long). Loved the raincover and water did not seep in between foot print and tent! I wish the doors unzipped fully but that is just a personal pref

Durable Tent

This tent survived some pretty insane 40-50 MPH winds for a whole night— tent poles totally held up considering how violent the winds were! I’d say it is the perfect size for two people with extra room for things you’d like to store in the tent.

I purchased this tent as a graduation gift for our son - we planned an outing this past weekend- however, due to some unforeseen circumstances, he wasn’t able to go. I took this opportunity to test the tent and after enduring winds of 40 mph plus, rain, and bitter cold - there was no question that this tent will serve my son for years to come - thank you Marmot

easy and lite

Almost 7 years and going strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased one of these back in 2015. It was for my husband, myself, and our dogs. Since then, we've also added our daughter (3yro now).. This has been one of our best Marmot purchases, hands down. We use it quite often in the Colorado woods. It's easy to set up/ take down. The rain protection still holds up to this day. We were out last weekend and it poured on us. Everything stays dry. The dual doors are also a great perk. Just love this tent all around and would highly recommend!
