Alsek Jacket
The proper midlayer should keep you well prepared for anything you might encounter whether your venturing around town or on a sunset hike. Marmot’s Alesk Jacket is up for any adventure thanks to weather-resistant construction and an athletic fit. The softshell outer features a PFC-free DWR finish to fend off mild precipitation should you run into inclement weather on your way back to the trailhead. The adjustable hem and cuffs help seal out the wind on gusty city evenings. Zippered pockets at the hand, sleeves, and inner supply plenty of places to stash your snacks and essentials out on the trail.

Too short
The jacket itself was nice but I ended up returning it because the torso is too short.

Love the jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superb outer shell. Resistant to snags, remarkably wind and rain resistant, warmer than expected, and I love the longer than usual sleeves. PS - also has an internal vest pocket on the right pectoral.

My favorite jacket has been resurrected, sort of!
A replacement for my beloved older version. Just right for cool winter days in SoCal.

14 years and still going with this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy to say I have been skiing and living in this jacket for 14 years! It is an incredible value in terms of price and quality. It is still windproof. Thank you Marmot for making such affordable, high quality gear. I have been using your jackets since 1995.

Solid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very nice jacket. I purchased it to replace a similar Marmot jacket I lost on a trip. My only complaint is that the fit is a bit baggy even though I bought size small.

From 25° to 75°, this is your jacket
I've had my aslek about 10 years. It's the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten. From 25 to 75, all you need is a tee shirt and this jacket. It looks nice for dinner and it's durable and washes well so you can work in too. Mostly vice-versa though. Get this for your significant other!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one I own, the fit and quality are typical Marmot.

Too tight under arms
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved everything about this jacket except very tight in the armpit area so I returned this item. Know I read this from another reviewer at some point. Disappointing because seemed like the perfect spring skiing softshell otherwise
