Marker's Phoenix MAP Carbon Edition Helmet utilizes a blend of lightweight carbon fiber for the helmet's upper and shock-absorbing MAP foam. Map rebounds almost instantly when it's compressed, meaning it can protect from multiple impacts, and also adjusts to your head shape for added comfort and to minimize pressure points. You can fully adjust the fit with a dial in the back of the helmet for a more secure fit to minimize it sliding around on your head during a crash.
The carbon shell works in conjunction with the MAP foam to further deflect impact while keeping the helmet's weight low, and removable earpads make it suitable for winter or spring skiing. Marker incorporated a wicking, temperature-regulating liner that insulates your head when it's cold, but transports warm air and moisture away when things heat up.
