If you are on the fence, get it.
Not being one to quickly give 5-star reviews, I am pleased that Mammut made this one so easy. Bought for my wife during a "friends-&-family" window of opportunity, she immediately took it to British Columbia for a 12-day ski trip. With 5 days of temps between -18 F and -40 F (or C...equal at this temp), it was put through the paces and tested. The warmth and versatility and protection surpassed any previous experience. When facing extreme conditions, Mammut is a darned good partner.

EXACTLY what I was looking for
First off, THEY COME IN LONG! (Happy dance for us tall girls!). Nice thick warm material. Not so thick they're cumbersome, but think enough they feel sturdy and warm. They have a soft fleece like lining that is cozy next to the skin. Exactly what I was looking for when I was looking for dog walking pants in Winter (avg -30 where I live) as well as commuting pants for my walk to the bus. Probably going to purchase another pair.
