Runs way too small
Don't order. Run way too small and the manufacturer is unwilling to exchange for a correct size. It's a complete guess what size you're going to get. Do not order.

Not waterproof...
Comfortable and warm but not waterproof, I found out the hard way on a cold wet hike at Golden Gate Canyon State Park this Autumn.

Great Approach Shoe! Runs a bit small.
This show is very comfortable and great for short hikes. I would suggest getting a half size larger, it is snug, but managable. Very good looking shoe!

Grippy outsole, sock-like fit
I love the Saentis lineup as the Michelin outsole is super grippy on wet and dry. The boot has a neoprene-like tongue and collar so when you slip your foot in, it feels like putting on a water sock. For those reasons, the shoe doesn't breathe very well at all. They don't have any insulation but an internal thin fleecy material, so if you plan on using this boot as a winter hiker, you'll need a warmer sock. I probably would have ordered a half size larger due to that fact. The toe box in Mammut shoes are much narrower than say an Altra trail runner, so keep that in mind if you have a wider foot. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and function of the boot, but I would recommend to go up a half size.

great boot, fits small
It is a very well-made boot but it fits at least a half size smaller than true-sizing.

Great active winter shoe
Started using this shoe as my daily driver here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan winter. The agressive tread, strong construction, and added warmth make it incredibly functional. This shoe also makes for an exceptional winter hiking / running shoe - always keeping my feet warm, dry, and comfortable. Best with light sock.

These boots are the bees knees
I took a gamble on these boots and it paid off. They're lighter than my normal hikers, more comfortable, waterproof yet breathable. There's not a thing I would change about these. If you're in the market for new boots I highly suggest these.
