Extremely happy with the bag. Very comfortable on the up and downhill, good external straps for poles on the downhill and functional pockets for water bladder, radio, goggle, with external helmet strap. Only downside is I wish there were a couple small zippered pockets for things like keys, phones, etc. Planning on using this in the summer as a medium size overnight bag since the airbag is fully removable :)

Awesome Bag
I've taken this bag a good number of Backcountry rides and haven't had any issues with it. It's obviously heavier than a typal non-avy bag, but the straps are comfortable when I have the bag jam packed full. I had a 30 liter before and it was just barely too small when I had my skins thrown in and a small layer. I'm a splitboarder, so I store breakdown poles in it as well. I think the 35 is perfect for doing some day rides. I haven't had any durability issues at all. The zippers are quite durable and I haven't had any issues with the straps. I have not had to deploy it yet, but plan on trying it out at the end of the season if I don't end up doing so just to test it out.

Great backcountry bag
I had a chance to get this bag out for a couple days hut skiing in Montana. With the terrain we were skiing, I took the airbag out to give more space for my load. The pack was ample for my sleeping bag, clothes, and my necessities for a backcountry ski touring trip of 3 days. The avy gear pocket with big zipper grips was great for winter gloves. The straps and webbing also made carrying skis across some low snowpack areas with our early season snow pack. My only complaint was the top pocket where the airbag usually goes has a zipper that doesn't stay closed very well. While good when you have the airbag in an emergency, when not using the airbag, it would be nice to have that pocket more securely closed to prevent snow from getting in there. Overall, great bag, packs well, and even with weight, it stays secure against your back, which is key when skiing.

Absolutely garbage sternum strap
Ridiculous that for a pack this pricy the sternum strap included is laughably flimsy.

It appears to be a nice pack
The pack seems well thought out. I have a lot of Mammut gear and I've happy with it. Now we need more snow so I can test it out. I'll update this review in February After using the pack for a while I really like it. I do notice the extra weight and it took a couple weeks to break in and get used to the stiff cable and handle in the lest hand shoulder strap. Once I got the pack adjusted correctly and used it 10 times I'm very comfortable wearing it for long days.
