Why We Like The Lowe Alpine Cholatse ND 50L + 5 Backpack
The Lowe Alpine Cholatse NND 50L + 5 pack leans into comfort and stability for our backpacking trips. That starts with the Air Contour + back system—which aerates our back as it distributes the weight—and continues with softer foam in the lumbar and a padded harness and hip belt to cushion our load. This pack features an adjustable fit in the torso while the "ND" stands for "narrow dimension"—an ideal fit for women (or men) with smaller frames. The extended lid adds 5 liters of storage to the pack's 50 liter capacity, so we should have room for multi-night trips, whether we're carrying standard or ultralight gear. If we're low on space, the Cholatse also features external pockets, attachment points, and daisy chain loops for additional gear storage.
