Ok
Disappointed that you can only drink out of this by using the straw lid. You can't pour filtered water out of it into a glass, kettle, etc.

Not bad could be better
It’s good but the filter needs to removed PFOA can’t trust the water department by the time they mention there is something in the water it’s too late .

Essential for Traveling in Foreign Countries
My family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) recently took an amazing trip to Costa Rica. We were in Costa Rica for 8 days. We each had our own water bottle with three of us using the 1 liter version and the other two using the 22 oz version. The 1 liter was much more helpful because of the increased capacity in Costa Rica's hot and humid environment where you need to be drinking a lot of water. When drinking water, we drank exclusively from these water bottles. None of us got sick and the water tasted great the entire trip, from airports to the beaches to the tropics. We even brought these to the restaurants and filled them up from the water that was provided to us at the restaurant. I consider this a tool, not just a water bottle, and I think it is essential to a great trip. We will be using them on all future trips. Costa Rica is a pretty safe country for water and food but plenty of people still get sick. We didn't get sick and I'm sure it was thanks in large part to these water bottles. The filters worked exceptionally well all trip and the carbon filters seemed to last the the entire trip as well. I purchased the water bottles directly from LifeStraw and they arrived quickly. We also used the 8L gravity filter bag on our trip to provide us enough water. It worked excellent as well! I wrote a review for that product as well. Highly recommend these water bottles!

Love it!!!
Took it on a backpacking trip around Panamá as it's maiden voyage. From high end hotels to staying with indigenous communities out in the islands, not once did I need to buy or use a single plastic bottle. The only water I didn't put in is was sea water because I simply didn't need to, but I was perfectly fine drinking fresh water from all over. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

My second bottle
I liked my first bottle I bought a few years ago, the 1L Go Bottle, only it wasn't leak proof and I would often get surprised with a gush of water when I flipped up the mouthpiece during temperature or pressure changes. I decided I needed a slightly smaller bottle that was leak proof and there it was, the LifeStraw Go Series 22 oz. My first disappointment is that the large lid has to stay on to be leak proof; it's awkward to unscrew one handed and you have to find a clean place to put the lid down. The shape of the mouthpiece is also awkward with it's non unidirectional trapezoid-like shape. Water still comes gushing out with temperature changes like when leaving the bottle in a car for 30 minutes while shopping. The air hole whistles, gurgles and otherwise annoys my wife when I'm sucking on the straw. I should have examined the bottle more closely to realize that it can't be one-handed water proof. Having said all that, The water I drink from either bottle is clean and tastes that way.

Future Use
The bottles arrived promptly. These are going to be used for an upcoming trip throughout Europe. Yet to be tested but I’m confident they will perform as designed.

Life Saving
I bought it because I have life threatening allergies to nickel, and nickel is in the water where I live. Even though it is not advertised as getting nickel out, it does with mine. Now I don’t have to worry about clean water at all. I just fill up my go liter water bottle, and I am good to go!
