Good quality, hard to drink
I was really excited to get my bottle and I am still glad to have it for traveling. However, the resistance is fairly high when sucking directly through the straw that by the end of a day of using it I tend to have a headache. As a result, I am not using it as my daily bottle, only for traveling. The quality is high, it's just impractical for me as a heavy water drinker

Smaller bottle better for travel.
I bought two of the smaller Lifestraw bottles to take on a two week trip where we were playing 'planes, trains and automobiles' so to speak, plus ferries. The bottles were easier to carry than the larger ones we had and we had plenty of opportunities to fill them. Trips back a couple years we got plastic water bottles as we traveled, tried to recycle but that option isn't always available. This kept us away from that and (I think) more microplastics in the water. We always had a drink of water for a hike or ? handy.

My Bad
should have read description before I purchased. wanted to filter ice from machine with drinks of my choice... can't use anything but water in it or it contaminates the filter..money wasted..might not be so bad if it wasn't so hard to draw from straw!

My family doesn’t travel without our Lifestraw bottles.
Love my Lifestraw! Brought one for everyone in my family who took it to Africa! Great for travel when one often has to rely on bottled water from plastic bottles.

I would love it, if it didn't leak
I love my water bootle but it has been leaking a lot. I can't lay it on its side or it will leak despite the top being on the lid being tight. It will also leak from the cap when just standing. Works as a filter, I used it all over Ecuador but not really useful for daily because of the leaks

Excellent for hiking and places where water is sketchy
We took this to Colombia and only drank water from this. We even filled it up at a waterfall on a hike. We have used river water in it. Never gotten sick. Amazing.

High Maintenance
The instructions mention to burp the bottle before flying as it may overflow in flight. However this became a everyday thing for me. Leaving the bottle in a hot car, or entering a AC building it would overflow. Even in you "burp" or blow back into the straw water can over flow when there is large pressure change. My car's bottle holders often had water in the bottom, then it dipped on my while driving. If the bottle was in my back pack and I did not "burp" it I would find a wet pack later in the day. I do need a filter for micro plastics which is the reason I chose this bottle. Sorry LifeStraw, I love your products but this bottle was just not functional for me. side note: I have worked with your team on a solution a few weeks ago. I had the same problems with the replacement bottle they sent. me.

Fantastic Product!
It was a gift for my brother and he loves it. We both love the fact that it also provides clean water for a child for a year! I am so glad you have teamed up with the Carter Center and have practically eradicated River Blindness! Thank you :)
