The Stratos V is La Sportiva's fifth iteration of the most advanced ski boot built with input from world champion ski mountaineering racers. It's a full carbon randonee boot that assures precise control, perfect power transmission, and an incredibly low weight of a single pound. The Vibram Litebase sole is hollow in the heel for reduced weight, and there's a thin layer of rubber for traction on rocky, icy terrain. A roomy 103.8mm last allows complete customization with the inflatable Pillow-Tech liner that also optimizes thermal regulation to keep comfy during highly aerobic endeavors.
