Why We Like The Solution Climbing Shoe
The Women's Solution Climbing Shoe is La Sportiva's most popular answer to difficult boulder problems and steep sport routes. Drastically downturned, this shoe is one of the best for overhangs, scummy heel hooks, greasy smears, and microscopic edges. La Sportiva's revered P3 Power Platform was first developed specifically for this shoe, and it retains the shoe's aggressive downturn for the shoe's life. A shoe this technical deserves its own special rubber compound, and it's one of the few out there to feature Vibram's XS Grip2 rubber, which is extremely stiff around the toe box and soft, supple, and thin at the heel and arch. With more flexibility at the heel, the Solution bends to your will when you're toeing off-angled footholds and high-stepping the top-out.

Precise.
I love these shoes so much! The downturn is incredibly aggressive, its a pretty uncomfortable shoe if you go for the performance fit, and the overall breaking in period is really long, but these shoes are so precise that your feet and heel feel like extensions of your hands. The heel on these shoes is incredible, I feel very secure. Overall, this is the best climbing shoe on the market.

Amazing Shoe, but Not My Foot Shape ):
This shoe was everything the hype said it would be. I felt solid heel hooking as well as toe hooking in these. I'm a women's 7 in US street shoe. I sized down 2 full US sizes and I bought these in 36 EUR/5.5 USW. They fit perfectly. The next half size down was a bit too painful to put on, these were just tight enough to bear comfortably while breaking them in. I did end up returning them because my foot was going numb in the right shoe. The shape of the shoe was surprisingly too narrow around my forefoot and I thought I broke my toe in it at one point, after I slipped off a hold. I played it safe and sent them back, but had the shoe fit the front of my foot better, then these would have been a dream.

Love the shoe and how it feels when I?m on a steep overhang, being a male with wide feet, maybe wasn?t the best idea with these shoes but sacrifice comfort for performance and it works well for the task at hand. A little snug for me but that?s due to my naturally wide feet.

Great shoe!
Got my first pair of these about 8 or so months ago and they've held up really well. At first I was a little concerned they may not fit the shape of my foot as well as I wanted, but as the broke in, that issue got a lot better. They've served me really well and still have some life in them!

Not Durable
These shoes are my favorite fit and toe I've ever had, but the straps started breaking within the first few months and a little later the rubber for the hooks started fraying up. These would totally be my favorite shoes if they didn't fall apart within the first year! I would only get these if you have money to buy a new pair within a year. Make a more durable pair and I'm sold!!

Just like the pink ones
This is my first pair in the new colors. Seem to be right in line with the old pink ones. Great shoe. On one of them the stitching feels a bit rough and abrasive on my heel, but I'm sure it will calm down with some breaking in.

Well rounded shoe
I use these shoes for everything from sport climbing inside and outside to bouldering competitions and outside boulders. They smear well, edge well, heel hook well, and can toe hook just about everything. All angles of wall are no match for this shoe. They are able to toe in on the steeps, and edge like no other on the vert and slabs.

Great for serious kid climbers
My favorite shoes. I'm a kid, but also a real climber so the women's solutions come in sizes that work for me even though they are not kids shoes.

Best outdoor shoe
I've been wearing the solution for nearly 10 years! They continue to impress me when it comes to edging and heel hooking on rock. The women's solution is nice, because the lower volume fits my foot even better!

The BEST shoe for roof bouldering
These are the only shoe I wear when bouldering any rock other than slab. These toe hook like no other shoe on the market. They are also good for heel hooking and the rubber is so sticky! I bought the same size in this model as the previous woman's model. I bought this shoe one size up from the previous man's model.
