Great Starter Shoe!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This was the second pair of shoes I ever purchased, and they did great! Once they broke in the performed well and were fairly comfortable. They edge super well, and I got good performance out of them once I started crack climbing as well! Eventually the foot jamming tore a hole in the leather on top of my foot, but that was after heavy use for like 9 months. Would recommend to any beginner/intermediate climbers.

Great!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 43.0

I have been climbing for about a year and these are still going strong. If anything is limiting my climbing ability, then it?s not the shoes! I wear a 10.5 street shoe and the 43.0 fit perfectly. Toes are pressed against the front, but not crammed. I don?t feel the need to remove them between climbing while belaying my friends.

Perfect First Pair of Shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 42.5
- Weight:
- 163
I've been using these extensively for over a year and I've loved them. They are great for in the gym, desert sandstone, limestone, and probably other kinds of rock that I have yet to climb. These are slightly more aggressive than the tarantulance, but not too aggressive. Be aware that these shoes stretch out quite a bit, as they are made of leather. I'm a size 9.5 in street shoes, and I bought a pair that was 42.5, as they felt snug but not uncomfortable. I wish I had gotten a 42 or even a 41.5, because they have stretched out quite a bit. So if this is your first pair of shoes, I would find what feels good, and then go down half a size!!
