Waited Too Long
I have looked at this insulated sleeping pad for a couple of years. I should have purchased it years ago. I have been using sleeping pads since Ther-a-rest very first products came out. I have been hammock camping for the last 15 years as my main sleeping setup. I used this for the first time last weekend and it blew my mind! Easy to inflate with just using my breath, took less than 2-mins with little effort. The temps where in the low 40-degrees, no cold spots. I was shocked how the wings on the sides of the pad not only reduce the pad from slipping from under your body, but also prevent the cold from getting to your arms and legs through the hammock walls as you move around. If you are a hammock sleeper, get this ASAP, it is a real game changer for your experience.

New insulation for my hammock!
I received the Klymit Hammock V just one week before my trip and was anxious to see how it performed. I was not dissapointed at all. The temperatures got down into the mid thirties, in the South Lake Tahoe area, and I was still nice and toasty! Very pleased and I look forward to seeing how well it longevity wise.

Great For Hammock Camping
Certainly A great packable sleeping pad! I used it for a camping trip recently where it was used exclusively while hammock camping, between the The Klymit Insulated V Sleeping pad and Klymit Pillow it was a great experience in the South Carolina weather of march 2024! Looking forward to further testing its longevity throughout the year! Would be nice to have markers for what position it be used in, though it doesn't seem to matter which way you sleep on it, as far as head one way or the other at least! Thanks!

Adds comfort to your hammock
This pad is better than a rectangular one for a hammock. Although it does slide just as much from tie to tie, it does not slip from side to side. The wings are nice in keeping heat in and keeping your backside from getting chilled. It also is a bit heavier, but worth the weight for the additional warmth it provides.

great hammock sleeping pad. I've used it on top of a mountain in late winter in CO and I lost significantly less heat through the bottom of my hammock and it made my sleeping experience much comfier.

Slept Like a Baby
5 stars! Too comfortable and didn't want to get up in the morning. Folding and releasing air was the only problem I had as compared to other pads. I think Klymit might have sadly discontinued this product. I hope this lasts.

Excellent products and customer service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the product. A buddy and I took ours out on a backpacking trip to Hunter Lake in the Sierra's. The overnight low was 8 degrees and I was toasty warm with my 40 degree UQ and this mat.

Unhappy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought and heard this was an awesome sleep pad. The first one I received only lasted one use and had a blowout on the seam. The second one I got lasted only a couple uses before I developed a leak at the air inlet access seam. Very disappointed, I wish I could find one that could hold up to its reputation or at least what's its usage is for.

Snug hug
I have been using this pad for a few seasons now. The flaps hold you in line nicely, the insulation is very good. I have had several pin holes in the material, but it has gotten a lot of use. Easily fixed with some gear tape.

Works in a Hennessy Hammock
This pad fits nicely between the layers of a dual layer Hennessy Hammock (I have an XL). I used it on a couple of 40F nights and I was quite comfortable (definitely more comfortable than with the bulkier Hennessy heat reflecting pad that I tested on the same trip).
