First time Keen was wrong size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn Keens for over 20 years and this is the first time the size I always get was way too big. Not sure what that means but I returned them and now the next size smaller is out of stock. Go figure

mens targhee III
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice shoe but the soles don't last. These are a replacement for the pair I puchased last October. The soles on those came apart in less than 1 year.

When will they fall apart?
I enjoy Keens, but they are very short-lived in their surface. Immediately comfortable,, but they fall apart far to0 soon. My recommendation to a friend will come with the caveat of "when?"

Very Comfortable Quality Shoe
Keen makes a very well made shoe. They are comfortable as soon as you wear them and provide great support. This is my second pair and I know both will serve me well for many years.

Quality
Have been loyal to Keen for about twenty years, due to an orthopedics recommendation to avoid inserts. Over time I have noticed the quality in workmanship decrease. The soles are wearing out faster and have had several actually separate from the shoe. Would recommend these shoes only because the comfort and weather proofing still remains the same.

I had the model I
I had the model I of these shoes and they lasted about five years with roughly 75 miles a month walking. The new model is very similar, comfortable and sturdy. I look forward to the next pair in five years.

Not as good as the Targhee II's
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't like these anywhere near as much as I love my Targhee II's. They look nice but they are nowhere even remotely close to being as comfortable. It's like they're made by a different company or something. But the biggest flaw that caused me to return them was how your foot is positioned over top of the sole. It's offset to the inside, meaning your feet are not centered over the sole. Simple extrapolation shows that over time this will settle, or sag, and you will eventually end up stepping down partially on the side of the shoe with only the the inside edge of the sole hitting the ground. Do yourself a huge favor and order the Targhee II's instead they are totally amazing shoes.
