I wanted a versatile winter piece for running in single digit/low teen temps (F), cross country skiing, and snowshoeing/hiking in milder weather. This jacket does not disappoint. I use it for all my winter night running with just a base layer and nordic skiing on really cold days (single digits) with a base layer and vest underneath. The pockets are great. The hood is a bit large, but stays in place when the wind picks up, and the fit lets you move without flapping around. I haven't had any issues with the color running - and I have washed it several times. With all the great KT choices I thought this would be a bit of a gamble, but it really is the perfect piece if you want something that breathes well, fits, and keeps you warm when you need to move fast in cold.

Neon piping stains
The neon piping on the sleeve of the jacket left a straight line neon stain on the elbow of the light green. The color transfers really easily.
