Flying under the radar, the K2 Subculture Wide Snowboard caters to all-terrain riders seeking the do-it-all versatility of a directional twin shape and the precise handling of a Precision Lifted flat profile. Accommodating bigger dudes with large feet, the Subculture Wide alleviates annoying toe drag when you're turning down the mountain at high speeds. Set back about 3/4 of an inch, this directional twin handles everything the mountain throws your way, whether it's choppy, bumped-up runs at the end of a powder day, bigger park jumps, or two feet of fresh in tightly spaced trees. Hybritech construction provides a durable sidewall along the board's running length with capped ends to reduce swing weight and improve turn initiation.

Designed with K2's Precision Lifted flat profile, the Subculture Wide delivers the pre-loaded snap and locked-in stability of traditional camber, but without the catchy bite along the contact points. K2 achieves this by flattening out the contact points along the tip and tail, transitioning to a lifted flat profile for the remaining length of the board. Ultimately, this profile offers super-quick turning and snappy response, without making you pay for mistakes on edge like a traditional camber board.

Inside this underground all-terrain ride, the W2 wood core serves up a medium-stiff flex from tip to tail. Its ICG 20 layup blends smooth-flexing biax fiberglass with carbon stringers running to the tips for boosted pop and full-throttle response. K2's spring-loaded Ollie Bar boosts you off small rollers, fun side-hits, and park kickers with its pre-curved bar of carbon, KEVLAR, and urethane layers. Furthermore, the 4000 sintered base reduces friction for a lightning-fast glide across deep powder, icy morning groomers, and variable conditions.
