When you finally get tired of showing up at the mountain with the wrong board for the day's conditions or for the terrain that your buddies happen to be focused on today, you'll reach for a board that's designed to tackle anything you throw at it. The K2 Raygun likes everything from the steeps to the flats, hard snow to deep, technical or mellow.

The Raygun starts with K2's All Terrain baseline profile. This hybrid rocker profile employs slightly higher rise at the the tip than the tail to give the Raygun a loose buttery feel while maintaining responsive edge control and loads of pop. The directional shape uses K2's All Terrain Hyper Progressive sidecut, with an infinite number of turn radii that progress from mellow at the tips to aggressive between the bindings. The result is a predictable feel with tons of control, but with mellow, non-hooking contact points at the tip and tail. It's K2's perfect blend of precision and forgiveness. Construction is K2's patented Hybritech, which uses sidewalls along the running surface that flow into the tip and tail for durability, optimized turn initiation, and reduced swing weight.

The W1 core is made up of one type of renewable wood, strategically chosen to increase strength, reduce weight, and dampen, and finished off the recipe with the easy-to-repair 2000 extruded base.
