Total protection for moving in the mountains.
Between the harsh, high-altitude sun and blinding snow, traveling through the mountains can be hell on your eyes. Keep your retinas safe with the Julbo Camino Spectron3 Sunglasses when you're traversing ridgelines, crossing glaciers, and trekking long-distance trails through the mountains. The Spectron 3 lenses shield your eyes from harmful UV rays, and they feature a Flash coating that cuts down on glare. Offering even more protection are the removable side shields, which block light out from the sides when you're in blinding, exposed environments such as snow-covered summits. The lightweight frame won't weigh you down during long treks, and curved temples help them stay put when you're hopping across boulders.

Good Entry Level Sunnies
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I purchased the Julbo Camino Spectron 3CF non-polarized so I could watch TV on my patio. The polycarbonate lenses are decent - almost on par with my Oakley Ejector's for clarity and much better than my Moncler Flaperons (too much back glare). Julbo Marketing and Product Management are doing the brand a disservice. I was planning on buying a pair of their higher end sunglasses with the Reactive lenses, but after handling the very cheap feeling frame of the Camino I'll pass and put the $$$ towards a pair of Vuarnet Racers. IMO they are worth the $50 I paid but not much more.
