Jones just made it easier than ever to get you into the backcountry with the Explorer Splitboard. It rips the backcountry in any conditions, and it comes at a price that won't force you to get a second job to afford.

Directional Rocker features camber underfoot for pop and power, with a slightly rockered tail and more rockered nose to give it a catch-free feel and improve float in powder. A directional shape gives you more control and drive, and it also improves float in powder. Mellow Magne-Traction improves edge hold by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board, giving you insane grip on icy slopes. Magne-Traction is also featured on the inside edges for reliable edge hold on sketchy skin tracks.

Biax glass gives it a forgiving flex for surfy carve and easy turn initiation. The all-wood core offers a snappy, even flex and lightweight strength, and the blunt nose allows the board to plane more smoothly in powder. Unlike traditional clips, the included Karakoram board clips actively pull both halves of the board together, which means less chatter and better response. It's then finished off with a fast and durable Sintered 7200 base.
