Large and in charge.
You love the convenience and efficiency of your old Jetboil system, but you're tired of having to make multiple batches of everything to feed big groups of people. Luckily, Jetboil heard your concerns and created the Sumo Stove in response. Essentially just a bigger version of the proven Jetboil Flash system, it offers increased capacity to accommodate families and big teams.
JetBoil's FluxRing heat exchange system is built directly into the bottom of the insulated cup, maximizing fuel efficiency and promoting even heating by distributing the flame along the bottom of the cup. The cup itself is insulated to keep your beverage or meal from going cold and it's made of anodized aluminum for easy cleaning once you're finished cooking. As you'd expect, the insulated cozy also prevents you from scalding your hands when you're prepping and serving meals. It's also equipped with a drink-through lid that doubles as a spout and strainer, as well as a bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup and serving bowl. The adjustable burner features a one-button piezo ignition for hassle-free lighting, and regulator technology lets you easily dial in the perfect simmer level. Best of all, the entire kit, including your fuel canister, all stack neatly together for total convenience.

Does what it's supposed to, and well
Awesome. I use this on every backpacking trip. It is definitely big, but if you're cooking for multiple people having the space is well worth it. I will use the cup to mix up food and stuff in (some people are more purists and only ever allow water in their jetboil) but using it to actually mix stuff up means you don't have to pack extra pots and pans which is a big plus. And it is big enough to stick your fuel cans and stove and utensils, etc. inside. And having the measuring markers makes it even more useful too. Great workhorse.

The Jetboil Sumo is an excellent choice for backpackers and campers who prioritize speed, fuel efficiency, and convenience when cooking for small groups. While it’s bulkier than Jetboil’s smaller models, its large capacity and reliable performance make it worth considering for those who need to cook more than just a solo meal. If your primary need is boiling water for dehydrated meals, coffee, or tea, the Sumo is a solid investment.

I have a suggestion
I love using my jet oil! Wish they had parchment paper inserts so it was easier cleanup . I am going to try the ones I have from my air fryer.

Everything you need if you have room for it.
Perfection! The regulated burner and large volume make it well worth the space it takes up.

Works well and is consistent. I've used it while camping on a few trips and even once in the backyard to make breakfast outside. Heats up the water super fast.
