Jack Wolfskin took this knowledge and proceeded to fill the Helium Men's Down Jacket with 700-fill duck down, so you'll be as warm as a mallard even when things chill out a little more than you planned on. All this down is securely packed between the Stormlock polyester fabric and downproof nylon lining, which work together to keep wind from penetrating and feathers from leaking out. To keep your hands warm, Wolfskin built in two secure pockets, one of which doubles as a stuff sack for easy packing, and it included elastic cuffs and a drawstring hem to kick drafts to the curb where they belong. The final touch is a fixed hood, which is simple, reliable, and warm, without any moving parts that can break or get caught on branches or pack straps.
