Fantastic Wool Baselayer

These are fantastic baselayers and they regulate temperature extremely well. The fit is also nice for wearing as a main shirt and doesn't look like a baselayer. I would highly recommend these shirts. I usually wear them on days that range from 20 degrees F to 40 degrees F and they keep me plenty warm with just a midlayer on top. I purchased 2 of them because I liked them so much and also bought their leggings.

Great product, loved everything about it. One thing you need to know is sizing varies, make sure you size up for 200 midweight. Other than that good stuff.

For keeping warm overnight

Love icebreaker

Awesome layer. I wear it skiing on colder (below 20F) days. It’s holding up great after 20ish wears this season. Make sure you air dry only as with all wool.

Good warmth

I have used this as a baselayer going out ice fishing and hunting in 15-30 degrees, and it seems to do a good job of keeping warmth. It is comfortable to wear and does not feel itchy like I have heardother Wool products can. It is a little short in the torso, but otherwise fits well. I am 6' 1", 190 lbs.

Warm Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first base layer from ice breaker. It's perfect for east coast snowboarding since it usually doesn't get super cold here. I was able to use this (plus the matching bottoms) under my jacket and snow pants and didn't need much else unless it got pretty cold.

Great performance base layer

I really like this shirt as a base layer! It's the tiniest bit scratchy, but the material is perfect for what you need on the mountain and what's to be expected of performance wool. It breathes well, and keeps me warm without being "hot." Highly recommend for anyone doing a high exertion winter sport.

Just as solid as the one I’ve used for the last ten years.

Been using an icebreaker base later for the last ten years and wanted another to add to the rotation. Was looking for one that was a little thicker for the colder days. Used it a number of times already - great fit, warm but breathable and doesn’t overheat during activities, keeps odors down, and feels well made. Solid go to base layer for ski season, resort and backcountry.

Too short

I love the material, but the shirt is too short. I'm only six feet tall, but the medium I got is not even close to fitting as it does the model in the pitch, supposedly 6'2"! Mine barely sits at the waist.
