Glue for the sole is weak.
Good shoe but chunks of the sole are falling off prematurely. The glue seems weak.

Runs small. Sole coming off.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
150 miles and chunks of the sole are coming off, like the glue is water soluble. The toe area is smaller than normal.

This shoe was comfy and fit my wide feet well. I had no issues during a minimal break in period. After a technical 10 mile hike, however, the lugs separated from the soles. Not all, but at least 4 or 5. After examining the soles, it looked like these are made to be light but not durable. I returned them easily through backcountry and upgraded to the speedgoat.

Good shoe

Good shoe and liked the moderate cushion vs. regular Hokas. My only problem was they were giving me blisters on anything +8 mi. Had to switch back over to La Sportivas Mutants.

Fit was true to my other hokas. Used these for my first 25k trail race on technical track to an 8th overall. Great grip and lightweight. Has a really good lockdown on the foot. I had no issues with the lack of a rock plate. Traction through loose and wet was outstanding. The fiesta/saffron look was slick. I haven?t had any issues with the tread so far.

I have had many (many) trail shoes. My feet are long and thin, high instep. Size 14s almost always feel bulky, wide, clunky. These shoes do not. Trim, snug, nicely cushioned but not too much. Really great.
