Size up if you have broad shoulders

I’m usually a small (I’m 5’6 and 125 lbs and don’t have boobs and my torso is longer/lean), but I sized up and got a Medium because I figured I’d be packing layers underneath. However, I have broad shoulders for my frame (I used to swim, but also just naturally have broader shoulders). I can still layer underneath, but it is a little tight on my shoulders. There is plenty of room in the stomach area still, and I have LONG arms and the arms are pretty long on the medium. If you have boobs/wide shoulders, you should probably size up, but be careful if you have short arms/limbs.

Perfection

Grabbed this jacket on killer sale even though I couldn’t find many reviews online so ordered two sizes to try. Fits true to size. I’m 5’4” around 115-120 and wear XS in Patagonia and the XS fits perfect with room to layer. My thinner and thicker Patagonia down jackets both fit under for layering without restricting arm movement. Love the grey color. Hood fits over my helmet. Perfection. Now it’ll just have to hang in my closet waiting for winter!
