GS2 Fly Rod - 4-Piece

The Greys 4-Piece GS2 Fly Rod won't break the bank but will give you the ability to load your fishing quiver with single-line specific sticks. Replacing the GS series, the GS2 received a few upgrades: an upgraded handle and single-line ratings, to name a few. While veteran casters can make any rod work, with the GS2, beginners won't have to suffer through the criticisms of more exacting rods when learning the basics of laying down a loop.
Carbon fiber makes the GS2 easy on your hands. The improved AAA-grade cork handle gives the grip extra comfort and durability, just in case you squeeze a little too tight. Snake rings won't wiggle if you catch a twig on the grass or an actual fish in the water. The saltwater-safe reel seat uses a double-nut, up-locking mechanism to steady the reel (reel sold separately).
The action on the GS2 isn't too far from how your dad drives his classic sports car—relatively slow except when no other cars within a 25 miles radius are approaching, and then he gives it a little juice. Slow to medium action means the GS2 shines when the wind isn't wicked, but this rod may get a little noodly if the breezes become brutal. Four pieces are easy to put together with the section line-up marks, and they stay organized in your car when you transport your fishing phenom in the (included) cloth bag.
