Perfect size and comfortable day pack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I’ve had several different day packs but have yet to find “the perfect one”. So far this is by far the closest! It is a good size and I love that the pockets on the hip belt are actually large enough to be useable. It is nice to have one mesh side pocket and one that zips up. The water bladder far exceeds the design of a Camelbak. The blue interior is great- it is nice to be able to see inside rather than a black interior. If I could change anything I would like a little more organization in the main pocket- like a key ring or side pockets inside, but overall it is a very nice design.

Overall solid, but some materials could be better
Great pack with all the pockets and space a daypack needs. Deducting a star here because of the side mesh netting: the very first time I went out on a hike with this bag I used a hydroflask bottle in it and the simple act of taking it in and out over one day has caused a couple tears in it. For a product that has a lifetime guarantee (a hallmark of longevity) it seemed peculiar that this should happen. I have two other Gregory packs and both are incredible...so it seems an anomaly that this should happen. I will need to put that guarantee to the test on this occasion and see what can be done.

Very functional bag, runs narrow.
Overall I love this backpack. The 2L hydration pouch has been perfect to get through most days of use. The bag has worked well as a carry-on as well as for day time outings. My only complaint is at 5'6" I find the bag a bit narrow for my frame.

The perfect hiking day pack

This has quickly become my absolute favorite hiking pack. From someone who loves to pack extra layers, snacks, and have plenty of water, the amount of space in this pack is perfect. Not too big, not too small, just right. 10/10 would buy again!

Loaded with features and fits great. Only recommendation would be to add strap keepers.

Multi purpose pack
I have not used the pack yet but it's size and structure are hard to find. I need a pack that will fit under an airplane seat with maximum capacity for traveling and comfortably get me hiking for two days(personal belongings and water, no tent or sleeping bag). This pack has a nice hip belt with roomy zip pockets, a large water bladder and hose system, roomy storage that can be cinched down to reduce size to fit under airplane seat or to keep what you pack from bouncing around while hiking, along with numerous additional features. Bonus the color is attractive. The real test comes in 3wks

It does everything I need it to. I have used this item as a small day pack for a few trips. I the space was more than enough for what I needed it to do for simple day hikes and climbing trips.

Got everything for my dayhike need
I would like have given a five since this is a really nice bag, well designed, light weighted and very supportive, but unfortunately the hanger does work with my existing camelbak water reservoir when I tried to use it as a backup. Actually all my other Gregory bags (Deva and Jade) have the same problem. I would appreciate if Gregory could just make the hanger slightly narrower to be compatible with other major brands.

Many great features, one big problem
I bought this product in June and it has so many great features. The straps fit my body (I'm female) snugly, the pockets on the hip belt are useful without being too bulky, and the laces on the back are adjustable. The Gregory 3D bladder is the best on the market. I was in love with this day pack. Then I started using it, and discovered one problem. The back of the pack is constructed with raised sections, presumably to increase airflow. It was like hiking with a washboard on my back. It was super uncomfortable. On long hikes, my back went a little numb. Ultimately I returned the pack. Very sad to see it go, because otherwise it is one of the best ones I have used. I did buy a Gregory bladder, though, because they are great.
