All of these shooting modes create smoother video playback than before, courtesy of its advanced image stabilization (achieved by a processor) that virtually eliminates the jittery playback common with older action cameras.

Taking photos with your GoPro is better than ever, courtesy of its 12 megapixel images captured in RAW and WDR formats for editing flexibility and better image detail. On-screen exposure control helps you correct blown-out images in bright lighting and dim pictures when it's dark outside. You can take single shots, burst images, and time-lapse photographs.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with GoPro's app provides control from your phone or tablet, also capable of automatically uploading footage to GoPro's cloud with a separate subscription. New for this generation, GPS tagging of videos and photos brings a geographic element to your adventures.
