Hero Session Backcountry Package

Designed for shooting action sports, travel destinations, and outdoor activities without lugging around heavy and complicated camera gear, the GoPro Hero Session keeps video recording a refreshingly simple affair with its one-button operation. The GoPro Hero Session Backcountry Package includes a 16GB microSD card, The Handler grip for shooting on the move, and the Standard Frame for attaching to any GoPro mount on the market. Two included adhesive mounts attach to your favorite helmet or any object with a flat or curved surface.

The Hero Session is smaller and lighter than virtually any camera on the market, lending itself to easy travel when you're moving light and fast. Its ultra-wide glass lens with reduced distortion shoots crisp, high-definition footage up to 1440p resolution at 30 frames per second (fps). For smoother playback of fast-paced activities or slow-motion recording, the Hero Session is capable of 60 fps at 1080p or 100 fps at 720p. It's also a highly capable camera for time-lapse photography, shooting 8 megapixel images at intervals ranging from 0.5 to 60 seconds.

Another outstanding feature is SuperView, which dynamically stretches footage to a wider aspect ratio, allowing for playback without black bars on each side. This gives a more immersive viewing experience and taller field of view when capturing footage from a helmet, chest, or pole mount. Other standout features include: 10 meter waterproofing without any housing required, a dual mic system that reduces wind noise, and wireless control with an aftermarket remote (not included) or GoPro's smartphone application. Battery life ranges from 1.5 hours with WiFi enabled to just over 2 hours without WiFi, depending on the shooting mode used.
