6000x great batter, problems to know beforehand
I like GoalZero. the 6000x isn't a good fit for me. I should have understood how slow 600w solar input, and zero wind would turn out for me. The one part that was harder to understand was that out of the box (it is a beautiful unit, and great wheels) - but OOTB the 2 AC plugs didn't work. 37 reboots and steps later, the AC plugs still didn't work, so I am returning it. Factory testing before shipping would have caught this problem, i have to believe. But I expect that will get fixed. If you have a need for 6000wh for a light weekend or more of battery power, and don't mind plugging it into the wall, this will be perfect for you, that's just not my scenario.

Works well!!!
When our power was off for 3 days in January because of the fire danger in our area we thought we were pretty well prepared with a Yeti 3000X and 2 Yeti 6000x's. One took care of the kitchen, one took care of the internet/WIFI/cable, and one kept the aquariums filtering and circulating. All worked great. Unfortunately the refrigerator and freezer in the garage weren't running and we lost a lot of food. So we added another Yeti X6000 and now we're charged up and ready for future incidents. Tried the new one and it performed nicely!

Great !
My wife & I got it specifically as a house back up when there is a power outage. I also have a smaller generator for my CPAP & both seem to do what I got them for. It is just what the Doctor ordered.

Returning Customer
I love this product, I've had issues with my in home power due to electricity being powered off. This happens everytime the Santa Ana winds comes knocking on my door. I've been a customer 4 years ago purchasing my 1000x station for camping and emergency power for my apartment. Now living in a house, I've had more power outages and decided to purchase this 6000x. I have 2 full sized refrigerators one in the kitchen and one in the garage. Now, I have no problems powering any of the refrigerators Plus, i still have power to plug in all the lights, fishtank, TV and internet for a good amount of time. Also, I like to use the 30' goal zero extender to mount my nomad 100 to charge either the 1000x or 6000x to trickle charge. I absolutely love goal zero products, truly is a life saver. Bye bye generator and hello power stations. I recommend and own the following products: 1000x 6000x 30' solar extender Nomad 100 Solar lantern crush light I WILL purchase more products and with the prices, you can't beat it!

Great product
I have had this about a month now. And it’s better than I expected. I use it in my Peterbilt. I don’t like to idle at night. So I use it for a small heater in the winter and an ac unit in the summer. So far for the heater I still have 76 %, left on the pack. And then during the work day I charge it while driving. Great product. Hopefully I’ll have the same results with the ac unit.

Great Generator Alternative
Great alternative to our Honda EU3000is generators - enough power to run lighting for the needed amount of time, we use these for S&R lighting and event lighting.

Amazing
I bought this product due to my wife wanting a generator due to weather related power issues in Texas I hated the idea of a generator but batteries were ideal I started off with the battery and solar panels and thoroughly charged the battery via solar for no cost I ended up getting the extended solar cables to make the job a little easier Next up was the box to connect to my breaker. A local electrician set it up to power two rooms (kitchen and living room) and switch over could not be easier. I showed my wife in case I was not home, and she understood Also got a 30’ cable and lock that was bolted inside the garage So, when an outage occurs, I have 48 hours of power for the kitchen (fridge) and living room, and I can lay out the solar on the driveway without the risk of being stolen. I can literally run the kitchen off grid indefinitely if we have sunlight Could not be happier Also, if my kids run into the same problem, they can borrow the unit for the duration

Can the 6000x be safely operated in an enclosed space? I have a closet approximately 3' x 3' x 8' where I would like to store it and connect it. Would there be any issues with possible heat generated from the battery when in use?

I'm in a new home with a Reliance Pro/Tran 2 transfer switch connected to the sub panel. It has a 30 amp male outlet (and I have a 30 amp cable). Question: If I buy a Goal Zero (6000 or other), can I plug it into the transfer switch?

If I have a solar panel or 60w charger (borrowed from another yeti) plugged into the 8mm input port under the hood, and I turn on the 600w power adapter using the import port on the front, will it increase the input beyond 600 watts?

I have a system with several appliances which use a lot of power. In total the system will draw 1500 W, is it possible for the yeti 6000x to do this for 3/4 hours?

I connected the charging unit "Juice Booster 2" to my brand new Yeti 6000X to charge my EV with type 2 plug. Charging was limited at 6A but it did not work. Absolutely nothing came out of my Yeti. It runs a big fridge but I didn't load my EV-battery. Why?

My HPP to charge the Yeti 6000 doesn't connect. It feels like it doesn't lock into place and when I let go of the cord it loses charge. I have to hold the cord up or use tape to keep the cord pressed in. How do I get it fixed?? only used twice
