Lighthouse Mini
The old light worked amazing but needs a new replaceable battery that they have discontinued. What a waste of a great light

Junk, turned on by itself and wouldn’t turn off
I bought this for motorcycle camping. I’ve had a regular lighthouse for years and love it. I usually boondock and occasionally have to stealth camp. When I stealth camp I exercise light discipline. Around 1 am the mini turned on by itself and wouldn’t turn off. No matter how I twisted the control knob it just stayed on. Eventually I just wrapped it in my motorcycle scarf and placed it in my helmet. To add injury to insult, all my devices were topped up with power so I couldn’t dump power to them.

All about the battery
I love the replaceable battery version. I was going to buy several of these with the memorial day sale and give them out at a wedding. Unfortunately I won’t be buying these. They may still be great, but why change a good feature that everyone loved. I guess it could be caused by the people that complained about the goal zero specific battery needed.

Overall super camping light
I bought my old school Lighthouse mini (with accessible battery chamber) a few years ago on sale, not expecting much. It has become my go-to light for camping and backpacking. It pops up with a full charge after sitting for 6 months! How is that possible? Amazing little light. Lasts long, and I love the half light option.

Light turns off after 3 seconds. Both of them
I was stupid enough to buy 2 of these lights thinking that they would work

Lighthouse 400
I purchased my Lighthouse 400 about 6 years ago. Went to use it today and couldn't get it to turn off. Other than not turning off it's still works like new. I been very happy with this lantern and was going to purchase 2 new ones. I was going to keep the battery from my old one as a backup after buying the new lanterns. Imagine my surprise finding out on the new ones you can't replace the battery. I really like this little lantern, it's been dropped, kicked and left in the rain but it's still working strong on the original battery. Because of the battery issue I'm looking at other lanterns that have battery replacements. I get that they need to have sales to make a profit but replacing the lantern because the battery went bad is not the way to do it. Considering most batteries last less than 3-4 years that's just wasteful having to replace the complete unit. Because of the battery issue I can no longer recommend this lantern.

For what it is, it's great.
I admit I am a GZ fan. I have 2 Minis with extra batteries. Over the 5+ years of use, I've had no problem with the batteries. I don't even know even know where the extra batteries are. One lite I use every day. The 2nd is for the trailer and while traveling. It's a great little lite.

Just perfect
Living in a senior apartment, we always have power outages at lest 2 times a year. Maybe more dark hallways. Lamination perfect, and light enough to carry and helpful to power up cellphones. Thank you

Is SKU 32003 the V1 model? Is SKU 32011 the V2 model? Do V1 and V2 use the same battery? Is the battery easily replaceable in V1? Is the battery easily replaceable in V2? What are the differences between V1 and V2? Thanks
