Lighthouse 600
The Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 separates itself from electronic lanterns with multiple charging configurations. One of the coolest features is the ability to use a self-powered crank to charge the lantern when the battery runs out. Just one minute of cranking gives you ten minutes of lighting, which is just enough for performing essential duties after the neighborhood's electricity goes out during a thunderstorm. For off-grid campers and survivalists, the Lighthouse 400 plugs into Goal Zero's solar panels for a truly sustainable energy source.

Get this Lantern!
I love this lantern. Got it after a series of severe winter storms that left us in the dark. This little lantern is a powerhouse! We use it during outages and camping trips. It can provide light for an evening meal, reading at bedtime and still have enough juice to recharge my cell phone.

Love this little lantern!
This lantern came in handy during a recent power outage. It kept the phones charged and provided all the light needed in a dark house. I especially like the dimmer switch and the option of casting 180-degree or 360-degree light into the room. This is going to be the go-to Christmas gift for everyone this year!

Lots to like except battery
This light works well but would be far better with a replaceable battery. There are a few brands of lights out there that allow you to change/replace the rechargeable battery. This is far better in many ways, with less plastic going into landfills. Lithium batteries are also recyclable.

Lighthouse 600
Having used your Lighthouse 400 for a number of years, I wanted something with a bit more output and your 600 fit the bill. Long lasting with moderate use and recharges quickly.

OH SO BRIGHT
We lost electric in January and I pulled out our lanterns and my sister laughed. She said "what are those?"....My sister then told me she bought these type of lights for herself and two sons who camp about 10 years ago and how fantastic they were. . They truly are bright and they light up a whole room. ....Great lanterns.....

A must have!
As soon as I turned both sides on high power I could see where they got the name. Its wicked bright! It charged my hone to 100% and still had 50% battery(2 of the 4 indicator lights) The real feature is the crank. When batteries are fully exhausted turning the crank handle will generate enough energy to run the light. Pretty cool.

There are very different run times for 180 vs. 360 degrees of light, but how does one turn on just one side of the lighthouse 600? There's a knob. I turn it slowly, both sides light up. What am I missing?
