Starting with the C3 profile, it's made up from a predominantly cambered zone with mild rocker between the bindings. This, paired with a medium flex, gives the Whip Snowboard a powerful, poppy, and stable ride while still being able to slash, float, and butter in powder. The mildly setback stance puts your weight towards the back to sink your tail and lift the nose on waist deep powder days when float is your main concern. A blend of aspen and paulownia wood in the core keeps things lightweight without sacrificing strength, and a triax and biax fiberglass wrap provides a predictable flex pattern. Magne-Traction increases the running length of your edge to act like a serrated steak knife on hardpack and ice. Finally, the extruded base absorbs wax and repairs easily after riding rugged peaks and early season powder days.
