Needing a profile that can hold an edge on East Coast pipe walls but also float in powder, Danny chose Gnu's XC2 BTX profile. Long, aggressive camber zones underfoot offer serious pop and response so that he can boost jumps and pick apart technical lines, while a small rocker zone between the bindings provides float and a bit of playfulness. Mini Magne-Traction edges are mellower than standard Magne-Traction so you still get great edge hold, but with a less grabby feel.

A twin shape makes it easier to stomp landings switch and keeps the spin weight balanced for smooth rotations.
