Why We Like The Garmin Instinct 2S Solar Watch
We unlock every bit of our potential with the Garmin Instinct 2S Solar Watch. We get in-depth data for every run, hike, swim, bike ride, and gym session to track our fitness goals. The solar charging significantly extends the battery life, eliminating the need to stop and charge up on multi-day missions, and we can decide which settings and sensors are currently in use to even further extend our time in the great outdoors. The 40mm face size maintains a slim profile, and the reinforced face and housing are designed to stand up to extreme use in gnarly conditions. When we've wrapped up our workout for the day, the watch continues to provide us with high-quality data about our recovery so we can better take care of our bodies between activities.

Great Watch
I bought this several weeks ago and love it! Wish I bought it sooner!

Great for the all around person
I traded this in from the Forerunner 245 with music because I am an avid golfer. I must admit I do miss the color features and it doesn't have touch screen, but it's perfect for my needs. Peloton class, running, crossfit, or golf, this watch can do it all! l'm not sure the solar feature does much but its on there.

Overall great
I enjoyed all the features, the weight and the size of this watch. I ended up returning it because there was one feature I needed for my training, which was the audio prompt , and apparently this model of Garmin does not support it. I was actually very surprised that this model has so many features and yet it did not have this particular feature, which seems like a basic feature since they lower models carry it

Terrific watch but
This is a terrific watch, works well. Not too big or small. Tells time with a lot of extra tools to use. Only flaw is time to connect to gps to drop a marker. I have owned the instinct tactical 1 as well and same issue. This units is improved however this is big lag.

Small
The watch is small is really small. And I am really disappointed from the money I paid for.

Great Watch so Far!
I’ve my watch for about a month now, but didn’t really start using until about 2 weeks ago. I really like the size as it is similar in size to my Apple Watch 9. I also really like the color. Just wish it didn’t look so much like a guys watch. So far it does everything that I need it too.

Perfect for my lifestyle
I decided to purchase the smallest instinct 2 for myself after purchasing the largest for my husband a few months back. The battery life was the initial selling point, however I like that I can confidently do more outdoor things and feel comfortable about the durability of my watch. I previously had the venu, which I’ve kept so I can switch out when I need to dress “nicer” for work, which isn’t often. I’ve never been one to use all of the smart watch features, and mainly use it for notifications and tracking (steps, hiking, etc), however the ability to quickly see sunrise/sunset times has quickly become a nice bonus for my work (photographer). Maybe my venu could do that and I just never saw the option. Overall, I feel like the instinct is more responsive and maintains a better connection to my phone.

A foundation to achieve life goals
Features of the watch allow you to hold yourself accountable but also give you the transparency to do so.

Best value garmin.
This Garmin is perfect for someone who wants most the features of the high end ones without breaking the bank. it's robust and simple and does everything I want it for. since it's the s the battery life could be better but with its smaller size you can sleep without feeling like you have a brick on your wrist. I've accidentally smacked it against many things and it stands strong. Great watch.
