Find your way in the backcountry with a little guidance from the Garmin GPS Map 64sx, which gives you everything you need for wilderness navigation in one button-operated, water-resistant package. It's preloaded with TopoActive maps that feature routable cycling and hiking trails, even offering you insight on notable waterways, natural features, and local points of interest like restaurants or parks—all easy to see on its sunlight-readable color display. A high-sensitivity receiver and antenna ensures that you always know your position, using multi-GNSS support (that's fancy talk for multiple satellite systems that provide global positioning, in this case GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo), and works alongside a 3-axis compass with a barometric altimeter.

The GPS Map 64sx is one grade above its 64x sibling, featuring wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and ANT+ technology. It supports BirdsEye Satellite Imagery (subscription required), allowing you to load satellite imagery that you can then integrate with your own maps. Using the Bluetooth you can also share information with your friends, such as waypoints, routes, geocaches, or your favorite hike.
