All around just a great watch!
I came from a Apple watch ultra. This has just as much features. Cheaper, lighter, more battery. I have enjoyed this for runner and weight training

Great watch, for the most part.
Though I’m still learning the ins and outs of the Forerunner 965(having just switched from a COROS Apex Pro), I’m really happy with the functions and features. Place where the Garmin doesn’t hold up compared to the COROS is the Gorilla Glass lens. I had the COROS with a sapphire glass lens for almost 3 years of tough use without a single scratch. My Forerunner on the other hand already has a couple of tiny scratches from just working in the garden.

Features hard to use
I am use to Apple Watches. Hard to use features. Doesn’t have good directions on operating watch. And wasn’t shown how to use watch when I purchased it

Mixed feelings
After using the watch for about 3 weeks there is plenty of good things AND disappointing things I noticed. For the most part, its great at what it is for and its clearly running and cardio focused, but it is really lacking in its gym functions. Currently my 2 big gripes is 1.) when inputting your lifted weights after a set, you need to scroll to get to the number whereas it is much easier in my wife's Venu 3s which uses a number pad instead. This should be very easy to implement on this watch with a bigger screen. Secondly and most important is the fact that inputting the weight after your set is basically useless since if you check the workout when it is done, you'll notice that all the numbers are wrong and seemingly random. I need to go into the workout afterwards and edit it every time. To end on a good note, I am very impressed at the watches ability to predict the gym exercise when working out without a plan and just doing different sets. It's clearly not 100% accurate but pretty darn good.

Disappointed
Overall, I've been really frustrated with this watch. I bought it as an upgrade when my 935 died, but have had consistent issues with the GPS, even when adjusting settings to maximize accuracy. I'm running on roads, not in areas with high buildings or features that usually cause GPS malfunction, and within any given run I'll see instantaneous paces of 2:30-5:00 when I'm comfortably running 8:00+. Sometimes it will lap miles 2-3 minutes faster than I'm running. As a result, the distance has been way off, sometimes getting .7 more miles than friends on a 10 mile run. It may just be that I got a bad watch, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent tracking, but scratches easily
I bought this about a month ago and have loved the tracking features, but it has already gotten scratches on the glass

Body battery
Great watch of course, maybe the best available. Really nice and bigger screen than the Epix 47 mm. So I have the Epix Pro gen 2 and the Forerunner 965 and everything the same (VO2max, VFC …) except the body battery. I sleep with the Epix. What could I do to ?

Finally got it Right
Going on my third week. Only had to refrence the manual a couple time. Easy to use, excellent display. I feel its a big improvement over my 945. Battery life is less, but I can overlook that for the other improvements. Was a little interesting that it did come with an external HRM. Since I have multiple HRMs from previous models, I did need one.

Just an "Active Watch"
Bought my ForeRunner 3 weeks ag. Battery life is great, about 11 days on medium brightness. Watch doesn't offer any utility besides tracking basic vitals and workouts. Touch screen is used, but side buttons are used more frequently - Garmin design team, why?
