Great watch but became glitchy
Have loved this watch but became glitchy after glitchy after about a year and a half, not tracking distance correctly and getting totally confused with the elevation - disappointing given how expensive a purchase it is!

Heart rate pulse different
I have two other Garmin watches and they give me a higher reading and more accurate heart rate reading. It seems the 955 lags a lot and is consistently lower when running up hills.

Excellent
The watch is excellent. Met my expectations. The only issue is that the battery is draining fast.

Great features, great price!
I was searching for a new watch to track activities and everything else in life, and found that this model had all the things I was looking for--solar charging, maps, touchscreen. Couldn't be happier!

Lightweight and Comfortable
I started with an Instinct, moved to a Fenix, and now have settled on the Forerunner. I enjoy how lightweight and unobtrusive it is on my arm. I can actually sleep with this device with no problem.

Pretty amazing piece of technology!
Apart from an occasional software update related glitch, I have had zero issues since purchasing this watch in June 2022!

The no nonsense watch for all of your health data
I had been an apple watch user for years and I have fully cut to the Garmin from the Ultra. I find it more accurate and less distracting than the Ultra. The Garmin health data has been extremely insightful plus extreme battery life.

Not bad for a non-tech savvy guy...
It is a great motivator for an old man who just wants to stay active. You could explain some of the different aspects and how they relate to your health. But I like the watch. It keeps me motivated to get up and do something.

5 Star Watch. 3 Star Software
I’m not a smart watch person- I’ve never had a pedometer or fitbit, let alone an Apple Watch (which is, at best, an accessory to an iPhone). I like the watch a lot. Software needs some work. Three things that would be helpful: a search feature in Connect and better map integration. I’ve added Koomot and All Trails- but it’s a GPS- why can’t I integrate it more easily? Third. The need to pay for a third party calorie counter is unacceptable. I wouldn’t us MFP for free, let alone pay for it in premium.
