Overpriced Unreliable Gadget
Switched to Garmin from AW in April. Indicators, such as heart rate, weather, location are constantly inaccurate. For pretty high price tag, Garmin doesn’t offer international warranty.

Great watch
I just changed my old fenix5 for the fenix7 Pro and I'm really happy wih my new Garmin. Firstly, the baterry lasts more than 2 weeks and the screen is touch. The features are great, the connection with the GPS very quick and gives me a lot of information.

Tons of Data!
I’ve been wearing the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar for about 3 weeks, and I’m generally very happy. The amount of data collected is amazing. My primary activities are hiking and indoor lap swimming. My only critique (may be due to my lack of knowledge) is that all of the swimming work out stats when viewed in landscape do not export to excel. For example, the swimming stats when viewed in landscape include detailed breakdowns of each interval, including stroke type for each for each lap in the interval and heart rate for each lap in the interval. With all of this data exported to Excel. Can this be done? Other than that, very satisfied.

What refinement and insane battery life! A+
Was a Garmin Fenix 5 Plus avid user for the last 6 years. I just got the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar, MIPS. I LOVE IT! The battery life is superb. And the LED flashlight. The BOMB!

Really does a lot of things right
I wish it were brighter but the battery life is great (I'm getting about two weeks while doing activities). The solar benefits seem like a marketing grift. I could leave that thing out in the bright sun all day and it won't gain battery. The flashlight is a great addition. I'm able to find things pretty easily and has a fairly intuitive interface.

Great features. Excellent battery life
This is actually my second Fenix 7 Pro (47mm) in sapphire solar. I gave my first one to my son0in-law who does triathlons, and it works great for him. For me, the excellent battery life, mapping features, and ability to connect to my Garmin InReach Messenger make it a great combination for being outdoors. It connects to my iPhone, the only downside being that you need to keep the Connect app running in the background on the phone so everything syncs properly. Highly recommend if you want a smart watch that lasts for 2 weeks plus in "smart watch mode", less if you use the GPS a lot, but still good.

Fantastic Upgrade
Upgraded from the fenix 6x to the 7 Pro Solar and am so glad I did. Same great Garmin battery and now with solar charging. This watch probably has more data than any human could possibly need, but it's better to have it than not.

Awesome Watch.
I bought the Fenix7 Pro after my vivoactive4 died unexpectedly. The most important function I wanted was battery life and the Fenix delivers right out of the box. Do the research on the watch, There is lot of options and sizes. I originally wanted the 7x Pro but the 51mm case seemed seemed big for my wrist so I went smaller with the 47mm. There may be some functions or features you can turn off to increase battery life.

Awesome smart watch
Love the running data/features and race predictions based on my workouts. The golf gps is awesome. The sleep data and morning reports are cool and useful. Wish there was a way to answer phone calls on the watch but this is a very minor inconvenience compared to all the other great upgrades compared to my previous apple watch.
