The Fjallraven Keb 52L Backpack is ready to take on your year-round adventures on foot or on skis. It features Fjallraven's award-winning wooden frame that is easily adapted to fit a wide range of back lengths to provide you with a comfortable carry. Hardwearing fabrics hold up to the rigors of life on the trail and repel snow to keep your gear dry and protected from the elements. Plus, its narrow profile won't hamper your mobility when you're tackling a technical traverse or meandering up a skin track.
Fjallraven constructed the Keb with thoughtful compartments to keep you gear organized and easily accessible, even when you're wearing gloves. A large main compartment with a snowlock closure holds most of your gear while zippered pockets in the lid and hip belt keep your smaller essentials close by. The hip belt also features loops for pulling a toboggan when you're on a yurt trip. Finally, gear loops, attachment points, and compression straps make it simple to attach your ice axes, trekking poles, and skis while you hike and explore.

Great Pack, but too heavy
I love this pack, but just find it too heavy (which I knew going in). I will save it for particular occasions where I need the load hauling capacity as it is super comfortable, but just too heavy for a normal trip. I love the features and the comfort, but there just has to be a way to combine many or most of those with a lighter material. Lots of other competitors on the market that offer similar features that are a pound, or two, or three, lighter.

One for all Backpack
Utility: Day treks, multi-day adventures and backpacking trips by train. In my opinion this backpack is perfect for every occasion and climate. I can tell this since here in Tuscany (Italy) the weather goes from very hot in summer (+40) to pretty cold (-10) in winter. During my day treks in nature I like to bring with me everything I might need: mat, book, coffee, fruit and first aid kit. This backpack allows me to bring all of these things with me without any kind of pain to the backpack. Instead during multi-day treks this backpack shows its real capacities and gives me the ability of movement I need while walking long distances, with incredibile storage capacities for a 52 l. Sustainability: It is expensive, but as an outdoor lover, I did prefer to save some money and wait a few years to buy this product, which is also built with sustainable and durable materials, definitely worth it.

Best fit and quality
Have had it for 3 years, used it for treks and travels. love the comfort of weight distribution on shoulder, no matter how much I load up in the bag. The quality of material is also top notch. Highly recommend to people who are into hiking in mountains. .

Almost the Perfect Pack
I have the 52L version for short-medium trips and I have to say it has just about everything needed for a serious hiker. 3L bladder compatible with holes on either side, side access zipper, belt pockets for essentials, included waterproof pack cover, and even has ice axe loops and sled loops! Honestly, I could list all the features, but a good youtube review will showcase them all. However, it is still not perfect. It does not have a full front access, which could be done by replacing the bottom zipper and the side access zipper. Also, this would add the option to add extra gear tie-downs to the bottom of the pack. Speaking of attachment points, there aren't very many and more would make this 52L capable of going with me on expeditions, instead of lugging my 90L Arcteryx with. Overall, I would still recommend this pack because it is unbelievably durable, sustainable, repairable, and comes with most of the bells and whistles needed for a serious outing in any conditions. If Fjallraven added the few features I suggested, I would consider this the best pack ever made and would probably buy it again just for the extras!

The only backpack you'll ever need
After trying on a bunch of different backpacks not knowing which one to go for as my first ‘real’ trekking backpack, I fell in love with the Fjallraven Keb 52. It’s a bit heavy on paper, but in practice I’m really glad to have something strong and durable on my back. The G-1000 fabric is really sturdy and handles like you can throw anything at it. I’ve immediately put it to the test during a 5-day hike in the French Alps and appreciated the slim profile, giving me the freedom to hike and explore as far as my feet could carry me. Although this is my first trekking backpack, I feel like it’s so durable it will last a lifetime.

A fantastic pack!
I can't let the guy who is mad about his blue Keb52 to be the only review of this pack; it deserves better. This is a 5-star pack, not a 1-star. Very heavy duty, yet extremely comfortable. Heavy, but you won't feel that when you're wearing it. Made of excellent durable materials, it feels bombproof. I appreciate the dual side hydration hose access, and the spacious front zipper area which fits more than you think it would. Torso adjustability is excellent, and also stable once you dial in your length. I really appreciate the inclusion of the rain cover, especially since my usual trekking pack company has decided to no longer include them, selling them separately instead. I wish it featured front-loading like the Kajkas, but the side-access is nice and I can pack accordingly. I wish it had a shock cord on top like the Kajkas, but I added one of my own. Hip pockets could be a little larger, but I'll keep my phone elsewhere instead. I really wish it came in Hokkaido orange as Fjallraven's colors are often too subdued. All things considered, this will make an EXCELLENT winter day trek pack or a 1-3 night backpacking pack. Thoroughly happy with my purchase.
