Granit Shirt - Men's

Solid!!

Had this shirt for a couple of years, it’s solid. Fits well and the shoulders are great for back packs or moving about the bush. I would give it five stars if the buttons were studs like on the Canada shirt. Or a Canada shirt with G1000 shoulders!

Investment shirt but needs tweaking

This shirt is an investment that will last you for years. I know as I've had mine for years. It's an item of clothing that will become an old friend. It's not perfect though. Just like an old friend. Put some elbow pads on this Fjallraven and it will be perfect. I had to do that with mine and I'm confident that by doing that it will come out every winter for a very long time and keep me just the right level of warm.

Despite the other review, I have 3 of these flannels and they certainly run true to size. I am sometimes in between a M & L in a lot of brands and the same goes with Fjallraven. This in a M however, gave me room to layer underneath but not too loose that it looks sloppy. I love these shirts! They however, a little itchy because they are wool and not merino wool. If you can catch them on sale I'd snag them up

Great shirt, shame about the buttons

I got a Granit shirt as a Christmas present. It’s really good, fits well, plenty of room and nice and warm. But after a few wears the buttons started to undo at a moment’s notice. It only takes a bit of non-strenuous movement, getting in and out of the car, carrying a box, training/playing with my dog and all but the top two and bottom buttons come undone. It’s really annoying and the shirt now gets regularly caught on things. Not great performance considering the price.

Perfect wool shirt for fall activities

This is definitely my favourite shirt for fall activities like hiking or grouse hunting where I usually walk an average of 13-15kms in a day. It is not only stylish, it's pure comfort. So no problems wearing it by itself or as a part of a layering system. I'm a tall athletic guy at 6'3" 240lbs and the XXL fits me perfectly, thanks to the comfort fit, it's still roomy enough for a base layer and a thin wool sweater like the Övik sweater. I used it for 2 full hunting seasons and it became my go to shirt. It would need two additions to make this shirt perfect, reinforced elbows and the inside of the chest pockets in G-1000 for added durability. You'll love it for sure :)

Scratchy/itchy material and weird fit

I have another similar fjallraven shirt and it's amazing. This one fits weird (short in the arms for an xxl) and has really itchy material. Disappointing.
