The Fischer Hannibal 106 Carbon Touring Skis are the widest offering in Fisher's touring line up. With a 106-millimter waist, these skis are meant to hunt for powder, and the deeper the better. With this wide platform to stand on, you can float, surf smear and pivot your way down untracked faces. And with a weight of a scant 1300 grams per ski, the Hannibal will fly uphill as well as it does on the down. With a Aeroshape top sheet, snow won't stick to the top of your skis and add weight. This really comes in handy when breaking trail in deep snow, or when the snow has some density to it. Under the hood of the of the ski you'll find a Paulownia wood core, which is both lightweight and strong, ss well as Carbon Tex stringers that give the ski liveliness, pop and added stability at speed. An AIr Tec Ti base plate gives the ski some added heft underfoot and provides power where you need it most.
