Poor returns process
I returned these pants because they run small and I have not received my refund. It's been 3 weeks...very disappointing.

I bought these in the airport because I didn’t want to wear leggings on my flight. I cannot recommend these enough. Even though they are meant for outdoors, they were perfect for my flight as they are lightweight with air vents. I also love the optional cinch on the legs. Some reviews said they were too tight on the butt, I didn’t feel that way. Maybe I just have a flat butt LOL. But I am 5’5 and 130 lbs, I bought a size 6 and they were perfect. Can’t recommend them enough.

My All-Time Favorite
I started buying Ex Officio clothing close to 2 decades ago for travel into more remote "adventure/eco-tour" type locations. The Bugs-Away clothing truly works as intended, but sometimes the actual fit did not, particularly if the sizing was just XS, S, M, L instead of an actual size. That said, these Damselfly pants are my all time favorite. First, the pants are available in actual sizes and not just a generic S-M-L, and they are available in petite or regular length. Additionally, the pant length is not overly long to begin with. The zippered pocket on the outside right thigh is perfect for carrying an identification card/driver's license and a couple of other essentials such as a vaccination and credit card and/or a small amount of paper money. A second such pocket on the other side might be useful. The open pockets on both sides are large enough to quickly store a regular sized mobile phone. If I could make an improvement I would add a zipper for security on at least one of those pockets. The tie waist is very handy - no gap at the back of the waist without the need for a belt. Sometimes in the jungle even an Ex-Officio belt simply creates a warmer area or is simply one more thing for a non-human primate to grab. I have been in situations where I had to hand wash my clothing and did not have a blow dryer for hair to use as a fast dryer for the clothes. The next morning, my pants were dry and ready to wear, after being draped over a little clothes line above a tub. PLEASE MAKE THESE PANTS IN MORE COLORS.

Great product
These are very lightweight and comfortable. They're as good as shorts on a hot day AND they deter mosquitoes!!!

Fit & Airflow work
Nice concept but not enough air flow... maybe I needed to go up yet another size. The fit was uncomfortable on my body - semi toned - athletic 5'2. Camel toe even after trying 2 sizes up. Not sure about the ankle synch is needed... it was liteweight, nice color & material.

Nearly perfect desert pants
These pants are nearly perfect for my hike of the Grand Enchantment Trail. About halfway through with only one tear from the ever present cat claw. Slim legs helps me avoid the grabby pokey plants. The only thing that would make these pants the perfect desert hiking pants would be to add some stretch and gussets in the knees.

Fit is odd
Fit is very odd. I am 5’4” 140# and have purchased similar size 8 pairs from exofficio. The others have fit well but these are loose in the legs, kind of loose in the waste and fit through the back end and hips but are strangely inflexible so, despite fitting they feel tight when you move in them. Needless to say, I didn’t pack them for their intended use to Costa Rica!

Issue with fit and fabric
I like the over all design of these pants and the leg vents were cool but they were too tight in the butt and thighs, I also found the material to be too scratchy.

When will the Damsel Bugs away women's pants become available again? My favourite indispensable everyday clothing!

Can you guarantee that BugsAway Damesfly pants prevent chigger bites? I garden; unless I spray head to toe with repellent, I receive 100's of chigger bites. It's time consuming and unpleasant to cover oneself in bug spray. Any coupons toward purchase?
