Eureka designed the Timberline 2 Tent for people who are getting into camping. Its tradtional A-frame design is super simple and quick to set up, with three poles interconnected and a few clips to snap together. The mesh door works with the breathable walls to ensure comfort in warmer, dry weather, and the rain fly adds crucial protection when it's rainy or cold. High-low ventilation ensures you get enough air whether you have the rain fly on or not. There are two pockets inside to organize all the little things.

Zipper failed

Bought this tent less than five years ago and use it for canoe trips of up to 17 days. The zipper at the bottom of the door has failed.

Timberline Classic

This tent is timeless and has proven itself over time. Can’t go wrong with a Eureka Timberline. I plan on using it this summer and Elk Hunting in the fall.

Still using mine since 1979

I bought mine in 1979, and just used it again for a Scouting camping trip this past weekend. Still easy to set up, even when you're exhausted at the end of a long day or in the dark. I no longer consider it a backpacking tent; I use it now as a single person tent for car camping. Plenty of room for my pad, sleeping bag, and everything else. Tall enough to sit up and not hit the walls. I re-waterproof the tent fly every 10 years or so and it keeps going!

Bought mine in 82

Outstanding tent. All together have lived out of mine totalling 4 years. At least a thousand setups in rain ,snow deserts and big winds. One of my favorite possesions.

Great car camping tent.

I have had Timberline tents since 1990 and they were the go to tent for backpacking, They are still my #1 one tent for canoe and car trips where weight is not an issue and space, comfort and durability are at a premium. My First TL-4 finally succumbed to a 50 MPH gale in the Canadian Northwoods after 300+ nights camping with it. I am now using a second TL-4 and a TL-2 for my tent camping trips. They are both over 20 years old and in great shape. The Timberline has two issues I have found. One is weight, this is a very heavy tent compared to others, but that is offset by the quality and durability. They are beasts. The other is the tapered door does allow water to come in when it is opened. I do not use the vestibule. A big plus is the Space. The 63" by 90+" floor is easily 4 times larger than other brand UL tents. I have also found this tent to be very affordable.

Indestructible little tent

This tent is amazing. My old one lasted 35 years. I decided I earned a new one. A touch heavy for backpacking, but easy to set up/take down, and absolutely bomb-proof. I’ve sat through tornado warnings in this thing.

Best Tents on the market

This tent can handle some of the roughest weather and keep you dry in the wettest weather. I have found the vestibule to be a great addition. You can not go wrong with this tent.

Great tent

I've had this tent for 10 years now. Only 1 issue, two of the frame sections bent - in 75 mph wind. Yes, you heard that right 75 mph. I ordered new frame overnight and it was there the next afternoon. I modified it - see pic below(close up and full tent view) using 1/2 PVC cut in 4 sections and slide them over the frame. Since then, have been in 50-60-65 mph winds and no issue. Never have I gotten wet - Never. Just my big Lab and I and there's plenty of room. I'd recommend this tent to anyone. Thanks Eureka!

Best tent I ever had

My wife gave me this tent fir Christmas 30 years ago. I have camped with this tent 40 or 50 times. Bees are some of it while stored on my porch. I loaned it out once, and when I got it back it was missing a ring. After everything it's been through, it's still a very reliable and waterproof tent.
