Why We Like The Eagle Creek Gear Warrior XE 2 Wheeled Convetible Carry On
Constructed for road warriors and adventure travelers, the Eagle Creek Warrior XE 2 Wheeled Convertible Carry On gives us off-road-ready luggage that converts to a backpack for versatile carrying. High-denier fabrics fend off bumps, abrasions, and abusive baggage handlers while the impact-resistant handle and heavy-duty wheels can take on everything from the tarmac to the cobblestone streets of old city centers. When we reach stair cases and non-accessible routes, we can convert the Gear Warrior to a backpack using its zip-away straps, adjustable sternum strap, and hip belt.

Great versatile carry on
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought 2 of these for me and my daughter for a wandering month long trip where we didn't always have nice sidewalks to roll on. The wheels are super rugged. Everything is super sturdy. I've seen reviews that complained about the zippers being hard to move, but my 10 year old did fine on her own. Everything on these is overbuilt. It is surprisingly comfortable as a backpack. If you want a 4 wheel carry-on that rolls easy over nice smooth polished floors then this is not for you. If you want a rugged two wheel that rolls fine in the airport or in the dirt and can be worn as a backpack then this should be on your shortlist for sure. I also looked at the osprey hybrid rollers and the design was flawed in my opinion in that the telescoping handle took up way more space inside the bag. If you don't need all the space then that might not be an issue. The osprey bags were a little cheaper build quality, but I would not have worried about using them at all. As for these eagle creek bags, I highly reccomend.
